Woonasquatucket River Rangers need aluminum cans for our Fish Ladder art project!
Riverside Art Project!
Calling all supporters of clean water, safe parks, and happy and productive young people: We need your help collecting aluminum cans! River Rangers are working with local sculptor, Chris Kane to construct construct two large fish with scales made of recycled soda cans, to be mounted on the river side of the fish ladder at Riverside Park. We need more scales!River Rangers are 24 local youth ages 14-20 who maintain the beauty and safety of the Woonasquatucket Greenway bike path and parks through outreach, education, and good old hard work.
Please bring your clean, uncrushed cans to Riverside Park Monday-Saturday between 2:00 and 7:00 and anytime to our office at 27 Sims Avenue.
The sooner the better!
