It’s that time again for the next NESEA RI meeting on Tuesday, September 1 at 6pm.
The topic: “Lessons Learned on the Frontier of Energy Codes and Building Science”
Presenter: David Weitz, director of applied building science for Conservation Services Group.
Put simply, David knows energy codes and building science.
- As the executive director of the Building Codes Assistance Project, he directed the nationwide implementation of the International Code Council's Model Energy Code.
- As the energy code coordinator for Massachusetts, he implemented the state’s new energy code.
- His work on the ASHREA 90.1 committee set national energy standards for buildings.
Rumor has it that David will bring some help wanted notices. So if you know anyone with energy experience looking for work, bring them along.
Where: Everyman's Bistro, 555 Valley Street, Providence RI (http://everymanri.com/)
Everyman's delicious appetizers and thirst-quenching beers and beverages will be available for purchase.
