I know some of you have heard about Peter Forbes – he’s the guy from Mad River, Vermont who’s done really fantastic work on protecting Walden Pond and the White Mountains in New Hampshire. He also launched a program to protect and revitalize urban gardens and farms across New England and he’s got a national reputation for being a champion of a new way of thinking – a lot like mine - where the health of the people and the health of the land are viewed as equal. I wanted to let you know that Peter’s providing the keynote presentation at ELA’s Conference and Eco-Marketplace, February 27, in Springfield, MA. He’s really worth listening to! Check out Peter’s schedule and the other speakers and demonstrations at: (http://ecolandscaping.org/conference.html)
