The Providential Gardener or What Grows on In Rhode Island occasionally mention books, usually because a knowledgeable Rhode Islander has especially recommended them. The Audubon Society of Rhode Island's Book Club is one ongoing book-recommending source, but then I've found at least one book list compiled by a Rhode Island gardening/environmental organization.
