People, Places & Plants: The Northeast Gardening Magazine

The Providential Gardener is rounding up info that focuses on Rhode Island, and there are not a lot of magazines and newsletters to find. An important one is People, Places & Plants, The Northeast Gardening Magazine, which focuses on environmentally friendly, organic gardening practices. It's been in business for about eleven years, and publishes six times/year. The current Autumn 2006 issue features articles on Day Trips in the Northeast, Fall Fesivals, and Garden Inns of the Northeast. The website has special features for subscribers such as the 2006 Public Gardens Directory and a Garden Center Directory. There is also an Ask PPP section that subscribers can use. and a TV show broadcast on HGTV.
