Rhode Island Watershed Restoration Projects

They say to follow the money, which is always a good idea, but I also follow the links. Yesterday I got an email newsletter, The Runoff Rundown, from The Center for Watershed Protection (CWP), located in Maryland, but with a national agenda. Usually I will skip the national groups and focus only on Rhode Island activities, but I found some Rhode Island information through this newsletter that I want to share, a list of Watershed Restoration Projects in the works in Rhode Island.

I skimmed the Runoff Rundown issue for Summer 2006 and eventually got to NOAA's National Estuaries Restoration Inventory and did an Advanced Search for Rhode Island projects. Save the Bay did Field's Point and is behind the Eel Grass restoration listed below, and I'm sure other groups are also aware of NOAA's involvement with the Estuary Restoration Act.
