How to Submit Event Notices
THE BEST WAY TO SEND ENVIRONMENTAL MEETING NOTICES IS VIA EMAIL.
WHAT TO SEND:
See "What's Listed in What Grows On in Rhode Island" for guidance on whether this is the place for your notice. If in doubt, send your news anyway.
HOW TO SEND:
VIA EMAIL:
Add postinfo@providentialgardener.com to your distribution list. Send any or all of the following via email:
- Links to your own online meeting notice
- Email meeting notices
- Press releases
- Brochures or posters
- Registration forms
- Links to ProJo (or other online) news stories about your upcoming event
- Reports about what happened at your event
VIA SNAILMAIL:
If you mail programs or newsletters, add the Providential Gardener to your mailing list:
Providential Gardener
PO Box 2556
Providence, RI 02906
WHEN TO SEND:
- As soon as you know the date and title send that info so it will be in the Calendar ASAP.
- Send advance notices, so Rhode Islanders can work your event into their lives.
- As soon as you've finalized details send the press kit or whatever you have for publicity.
Please don't wait until the last minute! Everyone's busy and they need time to plan! However, What Grows On in Rhode Island will be a good place to get the word out on a last-minute event.
There is no cost to list.
