When I'm out in my garden, which is on a corner in the city, I get to talk with lots of neighbors and others passing by. Last evening, I was glad I knew about Bike to Work Day - told one man whose brand new bike got a flat tire from somebody's misplaced nail (he hopes the tire will be fixed by Friday) and another father and daughter who stopped to talk on their way home. Here is one of the notices I've received about the various activities. A big event is happening downtown from 7 to 9am.

Council and friends on the Fred Lippitt Woonasquatucket River Greenway
bike path. We will meet at 7:30am at the bike path near Blockbuster at Eagle Square on Atwells Ave.
